Shany from Glencoe, Illinois signed up for ThreadBeast with the intention of receiving only one package to gift her boyfriend for his birthday.
“I knew of it for awhile and thought it’d be the perfect b-day gift,” Shany said.
Shany’s boyfriend’s favorite brands are Puma, Levis and G Star, two of which ended up in his first package.
“So like I emailed in some stuff about my boyfriend and they must’ve listened because he got these Pumas and a pair of Levis, and I mentioned both in my email,” Shany said of the first package.
Shany and her boyfriend ended up enjoying the first package so much that they resubscribed and are still active members.
“It’s like my birchbox but for him, and lowkey I think he gets better hookups.”
